About Us

The Department of B.Sc. Computer Science (Entire) was established in 2001. Earlier this course was recognized as Bachelor of Computer Science (Entire) the department got well equipped, furnished, sophisticated computer labs with smart board. Our BCS department has well qualified and experienced staff. The result of our department is almost 100%. It is our legacy that since 2006 every year we have one or more university rankers.
The BCS department regularly organize the state level event “New Horizon” every year since its establishment 2001.
Our students are short listed by various multinational companies in the campus interviews.

To strengthen knowledge and skills in the analysis of complex problems in specialized area of computer science and get avail of  job opportunities to the students in software and IT industry .

Workshop on “E-Waste Collection and Management”

“E-Waste Collection and Management” Workshop” With coordination of Waste Management Committee, Department of B.Sc. CS (Entire) and Department of History , Green Club of The New College, Kolhapur, “E-Waste Collection and Management” Workshop was organised from 09/01/2024 to 16/01/2024 in all institutes in our institutional campus. In the workshop students were collected E-Waste from Maharashtra School & Junior College, New Prathmik Vidyalay, Prince Shivaji English Medium School, Girls High-School, and Women’s Pharmacy College in our institute campus. The collected E-waste will be handed over to Mahalaxmi E Recyclers Pvt. Ltd., Kolhapur.

MOU/Linkages

Department of Computer Science(Entire) has an active MOU with Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Institute of Management Kolhapur. Objectives of this MOU as follows:
