The Chemistry Department offers comprehensive programs, including undergraduate (UG) courses in Chemistry and postgraduate (PG) specializations in Analytical and Organic Chemistry. Biochemistry is also taught at the B.Sc. I level, providing a strong foundation for students. The department boasts four well-equipped and furnished laboratories, along with a dedicated research laboratory for advanced studies. Facilities include a separate staff room, store room, and a range of sophisticated instruments such as a photocatalytic cabinet, flame photometer, UV-Vis spectrophotometer, and more. With ICT support, including computers, internet access, and an LCD projector, the department ensures modern learning methods. Additionally, a separate departmental library offers immediate access to essential reference books for both students and staff.
