About Us

Department of History is established in 1971. Department has glorious tradition of teachers. Prof B.S. Suryawanshi, Prof R. S. Mane, Dr. Smt. P. M. Mohite and Dr B.P. Chavan carried forward this tradition.  Department successfully attempted to produce responsible civilians and good human being. Teachers are always trying to enhance their subject knowledge and acquire information about new trends in History. They impart their knowledge with students through many activities. As a result, many of our students are working in various fields and sectors successfully.
