Brief History of the Department
Establishment : June, 1971
Since inception, the Deptt. has attracted a lot of students, even from other colleges, has well-known, popular, experienced & expert faculty, many of them happen to be former students & ably carry on the glorious tradition
Objectives
- To make the students aware of the significance of English for career.
- To facilitate students to learn English language with interest.
- To introduce students to the worldwide cultures through literatures in English.
- To create literacy awareness among students
- To develop research aptitude in students through workshops and seminars.

- Miss. Sharvari Thakur stood 1st at B.A. III in university, received merit scholarship of university.
