Setting a standard of excellence in the undergraduate study of political science. To prepare students well-informed citizens and to make meaningful contributions to local, national, & international communities.


To develop in students the skills and knowledge necessary for professional success and active and meaningful civic participation.

The Political science program provides students with a broad-based political education that is grounded in the field’s theoretical traditions. This includes a strong background in the fundamental branches of our discipline: Indian politics, comparative politics, International Politics, Political Theory & Public administration.





• To spread the constitutional values like democracy, secularism, fraternity & equality among the students.
• To teach the students different ideologies in political science.
• To give information about independence movement and other social political reform movements.
• To create research awareness among the students
• To give information to students about job opportunities after graduation.
• To make aware students about constitutional rights and duties being citizen of India.
