Establishment

The Department of Psychology was established in 1971 under the headship of Professor S. G. Kulkarni. At present, Smt. C. V. Rajadnya is the head of the department

The vision of the department of Psychology is to train and prepare highly competent professionals in ever expanding field of psychology.

Co - Curricular Activities:

To provide extensive academic experiences to our students, various co-curricular activities like participation in workshops, seminars, guest lectures, and study visits to educational and correctional institutions such as mental hospitals, schools for mentally challenge children are arranged. The Department of Psychology also conducted many awareness programs for college students to create awareness regarding psychological issues like mental health, suicide prevention, career choice etc.

Special Activities

The Department of Psychology also conducted many awareness programs for college students to create awareness regarding psychological issues like mental health, suicide prevention, career choice etc. Department also runs a counseling cell for college student which provides psychological services like psychological assessment and personal counseling.
